The Courteeners To Play Liverpool

Manc jangle-pop motormouths The Courteeners have declared they will play their biggest show so far in Liverpool , stopping off at the 02 Academy on the 7th March.

The band have been touring their debut for what seems an eternity, recently getting a taste for stadium shows under the wing of The Stereophonics.

Not content with a unleashing a whirlwind of live shows on the UK, the band have now also announced a massive tour of America, which will see them supoporting fellow Manc hero Morrissey for all live dates.

Debut 'St Jude' launched the band into the mainstream, however singer Liam Fray has reportedly already written the majority of their second release, with tracks set for inclusion being 'Bojangles', 'Revolver' and 'Three Months'.

This will be The Courteeners' last UK show before they hit the states on the 17th March, tickets for the show were released this morning.
