The Beatles are set to release new compilation 'On Air Live At The BBC - Volume 2' on November 11th.
The Beatles spent years honing their craft. From sweaty clubs in Liverpool to amphetamine driven nights in Hamburg, the Fab Four threw themselves into a lengthy rock 'n' roll apprenticeship.
Yet when the group found sudden, striking fame their potency as a live act was arguably neutered by Beatlemania. Unable to hear themselves play, The Beatles found solace in repeated BBC sessions.
Recorded with minimal equipment, the sessions found the band in relaxed mode - blasting through covers, oddball favourites and exclusive renditions of their latest hits.
Compiling the cream of these recordings into a hugely successful double album, the vaults are now being raided for a follow up.
'On Air Live At The BBC - Volume 2' will be released on November 11th, and contains 63 tracks spread over two discs. Containing studio banter and previously unreleased material, this looks set to be a vital purchase for Beatles fans.
