Times are tough for guitar music. The radio is dominated by pop and R&B, while live venues across the country are falling by the wayside. The 1975, though, have managed to make things work.
Recently selling out the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London, the band's dogged determination has seen them build up a fanatical fan base. Completing recording sessions earlier this year, the band will release their self-titled debut album later this year.
