Following on from their ‘Dead Film Star’ EP released last year Team Ghost, the French five piece band fronted by former M83 member Nicholas Fromageau, announced they will be releasing their new EP ‘Curtains’ on February 25th via wSphere. Earlier this week The Quietus premiered the lead track giving us a taste of what’s to come not only from the rest of the EP but also from the debut album ‘Rituals’ which is set for release on March 18th. The band will also be heading out on a European tour in support of the EP, which will see them play a headline show at London's Birthdays on April 8th.
We’re told we can expect ‘Curtains’ to be “a combination of the atmospheric synth textures of Tangerine Dream and Brian Eno, and the caustic indie-rock of Sonic Youth and My Bloody Valentine”. The EP will also feature a remix from Canblaster, aka Cédric Steffens of supergroup Club Cheval as well another track which will feature on the album.
