taffy are set to return later this year with new single 'Flower Chain' and a short batch of UK tour dates.

Shoegaze is now an international language. The scene that celebrates itself has become a global phenomenon, with Japan proving especially adept at mining the rich seam of fuzz laid down by My Bloody Valentine, Loop, Swervedriver et al.

taffy are amongst the few groups, though, who have escaped a sometimes insular scene. Gaining a cult UK following, the band have now confirmed plans for a new single and a short British tour.

'Flower Chain' will be released on September 3rd, and as expected it's all bass driven, feedback fuelled rock 'n' roll. Available on seven inch vinyl (albeit in limited quantities) the single will also be released as a digital download with 'Theron' as the flip.
