Tickets for T In The Park 2012 went on sale this morning (July 14th) at a special price.

That was the weekend that was. T In The Park 2011 finished with an epic performance courtesy of Foo Fighters followed by a spectacular fireworks display, before organisers promised to do it all again next summer.

Trooping away from Balado, countless fans matched this promise with the queue beginning for next summer's event.

Tickets for 2012's instalment went on sale this morning (July 14th) with early-bird passes available at a special price. A select batch of tickets will be available at 2011 prices, meaning that fans can enjoy T In The Park for less by buying upfront.

Lines opened at 9am this morning, with fans rushing to claim their pass. The first names on the line up for 2012's instalment are not set to be announced for some time, but tickets are already being snapped up.

Taking place between July 6th - 8th, the 2012 instalment will have a difficult job bettering this summer. Opening with performances from The View, Miles Kane and headliners Arctic Monkeys the festival was a huge success.

Event organiser Geoff Ellis commented: “We were delighted with the behaviour of the fans throughout T in The Park. Even a deluge of rain on Sunday failed to dampen the great-natured and carnival spirit of the crowd.”

Ending with an epic set from Foo Fighters, ClashMusic was there every step of the way. Check out our exhaustive coverage from Balado - featuring news, reviews, photo galleries and more - by visiting our hub page HERE.
