Snow Patrol, Kasabian, The Stone Roses to headline

T In The Park have confirmed that Snow Patrol, Kasabian and The Stone Roses are set to headline this summer's festival.

T In The Park is now epic in almost every sense. One of Europe's biggest festivals, the Balado site is turned into Scotland's seventh largest town for the duration of the weekend.

This morning (February 23rd) T In The Park confirmed more details of the line up for 2012. The Stone Roses have already been installed as headliners, with the legendary Mancs due to be joined by Snow Patrol and Kasabian.

A quick statement from Kasabian: “It’s an honour that we’ve been invited back to play T in the Park. It’s always been one of our favourite UK festivals and after having such a blast in 2010, we can’t wait to do it all over again.”

Elsewhere, Florence & The Machine, Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Elbow and more have been added to the bill. New Order are planning a return to Scotland, with Bernard Sumner commenting: “It’s been 7 years since we played in Scotland, up at ‘T’, and we had a brilliant time. It was as much of a surprise to us as it was to our fans when Brandon from The Killers joined us onstage for Crystal, so it’s gonna be hard to top that one, but we’ll do our best to make sure it’s another memorable night for everyone. See you all soon!”

The Slam Tent will open on Friday for the first time, with Sven Vath set to kick off the weekend long part. Other names confirmed for the tent include Skream ft Sgt Pokes, Benga, Fake Blood, Erol Alkan and more.

The final batch of tickets for T In The Park go on sale next Wednesday (February 29th).
