Super Furry Animals Debut New LP
Band to stream exclusive gig
Welsh wizards of whimsical psychedelia Super Furry Animals are set to unveil their new album in a special webcast.
Formed around the creative genius of Gruff Rhys, Super Furry Animals are one of British music's proudest institutions. Lovably barmy, the band have successfully integrated technology into their releases seemingly unafraid of challenging boundaries.
The group have been in the studio for some time now, with the resulting material set to be released as new album 'Dark Days / Light Years'. Eagerly awaited by fans, Super Furry Animals are set to preview the record in a special new broadcast.
Filmed in conjunction with MusicBox, Cardiff, and graduate filmmakers from Central St Martins College, London, Super Furry Animals will perform the album in its entirety on March 16th.
Fans will be able to buy the album as a download as soon as the broadcast starts. Little has been heard of the new material, although the band are set to stream the track 'Inaugural Trams' on their official site on March 13th.
