The line up for Summer Sundae Weekender has expanded, with Michachu & The Shapes, Japandroids and more taking part.

Set in the gardens of Leicester's De Montford Hall, Summer Sundae Weekender has something for everything. Profoundly eclectic, the latest batch of additions includes some extremely innovative talents.

London artist Micachu has been extremely busy of late, releasing a new mixtape with Warp signing Kwes. Recently DJing at the Boiler Room, the artist is also busy putting the finishing touches on her second album.

Micachu & The Shapes are set to return this summer, and the ever inventive outfit will bring their new material for this year's Summer Sundae Weekender.

Joining an ever expanding list of guest musicians, Micachu will be joined by Man Like Me, Beth Rowley, The Staves and more.

American group Japandroids are causing a stir with their new album 'Celebration Rock' - the follow up to their rightly celebrated debut. A typically full throttle return, the band have announced plans for their first UK tour in two years.

Set to play Summer Sundae Weekender, Japandroids will by joined by fellow new additions Her Name Is Calla, Charlee Drew, Cowboy, Vows, Bellawave and more.

Meanwhile over on the Acoustic Cafe stage, the Leicester event welcomes Siobhan Mazzei, Prash Gor, The Simpletones and The Skunk-Boy Project.
