Strokes Drummer Side Project

New Band Ready For Debut

The Strokes' rhythm keeper Fabrizio Moretti has revealed details of his new band Little Joy's new album, due to be released on November 4th in the US.

Moretti is the latest member of the band to indulge in a side project after Albert Hammond Jr's well received solo album and Julian Casablancas released a single featuring Santogold and Pharrell Williams. The new band Little Joy was named after an infamous dive bar in Los Angeles, and features Moretti alongside his girlfriend Binki Shapiro and Brazilian singer-guitarist Rodrigo Amarante.

The new album was produced by none other than Noah Georgeson - also known as Devandra Banhart. Amongst the tracks confirmed for the new album are "Shoulder To Shoulder" and "Keep Me In Mind".

Little Joy, featuring The Strokes' Fabrizio Moretti, are set to release their debut album on November 4th in the US through Rough Trade.
