Strokes For Bond Theme

New Yorkers Set To Return

The Strokes are keen to have a crack at recording the Bond theme, Fabrezio Moretti has admitted in a new interview.

The New Yorkers kicked off the whole indie explosion with 2001's seminal (if its old enough to call it that) debut 'Is This It?'. The band have taken time off to work on individual projects, but are currently working on their fourth album - the follow up to 2006's 'First Impressions Of Earth'.

In a new interview with an online magazine Fabrezio Morreti admits that "I wouldn't rule out (doing the Bond theme)... Just like I wouldn't rule out bungee jumping".

On the subject of a new Strokes album Moretti said "we're taking a bit of a break". He added "we're planning on getting back together sometime soon, though. Nothing's been demoed just yet, but to be honest with you, I don't know -- if the others have demoed anything, well, nothing's reached me yet. And I haven't demoed anything for them."
