Wavves are streaming a new collaboration with Best Coast taken from their EP 'Nodding Off'.

Wavves and Best Coast, Best Coast and Wavves. The two noise-pop groups have close ties, not least because respective songwriters Nathan Williams and Bethany Cosentino have been dating for some time.

The pair have recorded together before, but an upcoming collaboration looks to be a little special. Wavves have completed work on their new EP 'Life Sux' which will be released through their own label Ghost Ramp.

Amongst the tracks due to appear on 'Life Sux' is the new cut 'Nodding Off'. A typically hazy, laid back piece of noise-pop, the song features guest vocals from Best Coast singer Bethany Cosentino.

The EP is also set to feature previously unveiled new track 'I Wanna Meet Dave Grohl'. Wavves are building up for a new North American tour, where they will buddy up with Canadian hardcore crew Fucked Up.

The connection between the two extends to the studio - Wavves recorded 'Life Sux' effort 'Destroy' with Fucked Up pair n Damian Abraham and Jonah Falco.

'Life Sux' is due to be released on September 20th.
