'You And I' gets re-worked

Metronomy are the latest group to deliver a remix of Lady Gaga's new single 'Yoü And I'.

Returning with her new single, Lady Gaga has decided to hook up with a surprising array of producers. The studio version of 'Yoü And I' is set to drop on September 19th, and features Queen guitarist Brian May.

However the remixes contain some surprising British talent. Wild Beasts recently completed a new remix, which stripped the new single down to a skeletal, ethereal structure. A startling take on the single, Wild Beasts left Lady Gaga's vocal largely intact. Now Metronomy have become the latest group to deliver a 'Yoü And I' remix.

The Devon outfit have enjoyed a successful year, releasing their really-rather-special new album 'The English Riviera'. Nominated for the Barclaycard Mercury Music Prize, it seems that Lady Gaga couldn't ignore the group.

Invited to tackle 'Yoü And I' Metronomy have delivered something special. Joe Mount has handled production, with the single being stripped back while Lady Gaga's vocal is continually distorted and played with.
