Kele Okereke and Bobbie Gordon have paired up on new cut 'Down Boy'.
Bacardi Beginnings aims to pair up established talent with bright young things, resulting in some new music along the way. Returning this year, the project has already witnessed special recordings from Rudimental and Toddla T.
Drawing to a close, the project welcomed Bloc Party frontman Kele Okereke into the helm. Fresh from a solo EP on Crosstown Rebels, the songwriter opted to record a track with vocalist Bobbie Gordon.
Released on a special 3D vinyl format designed by Kate Morass, 'Down Boy' is out now. Strictly limited edition, the track matches lush house textures to a buoyant UK garage rhythm.
Bobbie Gordon's soulful vocals steal the show, and the singer was on ferocious form during the 'Down Boy' launch on Thursday (December 12th).
