Stones Party Secrets
Former Manager Reveals All
Party animals The Rolling Stones are set to have their cover blown - former manager Nick Cowan is set to publish a revealing autobiography concerning life on the road with the band.
Forthcoming book 'Fifty Teabags And A Bottle Of Rum' reveals all about the managers time with the band. Legend has it that Keith Richards is the biggest party-goer in the band, but the new book states this wasn't the case - it was actually Ronnie Wood who threw the wildest parties.
Describing a debauched tour in the early 80s, Cowan writes "Keith will spend the night listening to music with a few friends. His suite is not accessible unless an invitation has been issued.
"When issued, it has the force of a royal command.
"Ronnie's suite is known as party central. All night, every night, the door is open to anyone who wants to drink and more."
"Such is the volume of music that can be heard through the night from these two, their suites must be isolated from the other rooms."
Cowan also revealed that Keith Richards and Ronnie Woods once partied for 48 hours straight, before using massive amounts of tranquilizers to get to sleep.
