Stevie Wonder Single Re-Issue

Soul icon and musical legend Stevie Wonder has revealed that he is set to re-issue one of his biggest hits with 'For Once In My Life' set to become available through the Tamla Motown label on December 8th.

A boy wonder, Stevie Wonder first hit the charts with 'Fingertips Pt. 2' when he was just twelve years old. A rapidly maturing musical talent, he was still in his teens when he released the hugely successful 'For Once In My Life'.

The song was released forty years ago and appears on Wonder's 'Definitive Collection' compilation which has sold over 500,000 copies so far in the UK.

In 1968 it his the top three in the UK charts, as well as reaching number two on the US Billboard hit parade. Wonder proved his mastery of the seven inch single when just a teenager - as good as 'For Once In My Life' is, albums such as 'Inner Visions' were still on the horizon.

Stevie Wonder is set to re-release the song 'For Once In My Life' as a digital download and seven inch single on December 8th through Tamla Motown.
