Washed Out, Bass Clef & more to perform

Standon Calling has expanded its line up once again confirming performances from Washed Out, Bass Clef and more.

When its founder was jailed earlier this year, many people feared that Standon Calling couldn't last. However the organisers have re-doubled their efforts, with this year's event set to continue as normal.

Expanding its bill once again, Standon Calling has named a number of new acts for this summer's event. American producer Washed Out is set to perform, after confirming details his debut full length.

Now signed to Domino off shoot Weird World, Washed Out (known to his family as Ernest Greene) the producer blends obscure yet familiar samples with his longing vocals to craft something strangely nostalgic.

Debut album 'Within And Without' is due to be released on July 11th, with Washed Out set to perform at Standon Calling shortly afterwards.

Part of a new batch of announcements from the organisers, other live acts include Egyptrixx and dancehall maverick Bass Clef. Elsewhere, Baxter Dury will perform while Africa Express SoundSystem get the crowd moving.

Lamb have reformed to complete a new album, and will preview new material at this year's Standon Calling. The wave of new additions continues with The Goldheart Assembly, Three Trapped Tigers and more.

Mixing live music with DJ sets, Standon Calling has also booked turntablists such as Deadboy, FabricLive favourite Jackmaster, Bristol house don Julio Bashmore, White Mink and more.

Set in the the fields of Hertfordshire, Standon Calling is just 40 minutes from London making it accessible to inner city crowds.

Standon Calling runs between August 12th - 14th.
