The Boss tied to divorce case

Legendary songwriter, activist and all round man of the people Bruce Springsteen has been named in court papers filed in an American divorce case.
Bruce Springsteen married his current wife Patti Scialfa in 1991. The pair have become renowned for being the ideal rock couple, often opening the gates of their New Jersey home to neighbours for massive barbecues.
The couple appear to be the epitome of married bliss, but fans have been shocked after Bruce Springsteen was named in a new divorce case.
Rumours of the case emerged earlier this year, but court papers were only filed recently. The 27 page document was filed by Ann Kelly, with the wife accusing husband Arthur of being jealous and abusive.
Arthur Kelly accuses his wife of having an affair with Bruce Springsteen, with Ann Kelly replying that "he and his attorney felt there could be 'big money' in this ... because, true or not, the celebrity would want this to 'go away.' "
According to reports in the American press, Ann Kelly uses the same New Jersey gym as Bruce Springsteen.
Arthur Kelly's attorney in turn told American magazine People that his client denies being abusive and jealous.
"It was not surprising that Ms. Kelly filed this document since she had previously threatened Mr. Kelly that she would do so unless he withdrew the second count of his Complaint for Divorce..."
"Mr. Kelly has not commented to the press about his wife in the best interests of the children and in the hopes of resolving their marital problems amicably. Unfortunately, Ms. Kelly has decided to take a different path."
This is not the first time Bruce Springsteen has faced allegations of infidelity. The singer released a statement in 2006 denying similar rumours, and earlier this year issued a terse statement to the press claiming he stood by his earlier words.
In the statement Bruce Springsteen says:
"Patti and I have been together for 18 years – the best 18 years of my life. We have built a beautiful family we love and want to protect and our commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married."
The case is ongoing.
