'Wished' is a remarkably inventive indie earworm...
Sorry

London group Sorry have shared their deliriously inventive debut single 'Wished'.

The underground favourites recently released the home recorded mixtape 'Home Demo(ns) Vol. 1', earning them a deal with Domino in the process.

New single 'Wished' is their first proper studio recording, and it's a neatly askew indie screamer that refuses to play by the rules.

Comparisons could be made to early Wire, Pavement, or even The Fall in their desire to de-construct songwriting tropes nut by bolt by nut.

Amid a stuttering breakdown the vocals whisper: "That's what you pay... for a good time..."

Cynical yet carefree, it's impossible to place yet we remain utterly helpless to its charm.

Tune in now.
