Sons & Daughters Announce British Shows

Clash Magazine are set to partner Glasgow indie titans Sons & Daughters on their upcoming British tour.

Think you know Sons & Daughters? Think again. For their new album 'Mirror Mirror' the Glasgow based outfit decided to start all over again. Working with long time friend JD Twitch – better known as 50% of Optimo – the band have produced a startling, daring new album.

Released earlier this summer, 'Mirror Mirror' is steeped in demented electronics. A break from their Americana style, the album remains recognisable as Sons & Daughters.

Playing a handful of British dates earlier this summer, the band unveiled a striking live show which matched the noir atmosphere of 'Mirror Mirror'.

Taken from the album, upcoming single 'Red Rose' is a passionate ode from the Glasgow troupe. Due to be released on October 17th, it's frenetic pace is an appropriate primer for the full length.
Set to drop in October, Sons & Daughters have confirmed a number of British shows to coincide with the single. Opening in Aberdeen on October 19th, the tour continue with a number of Scottish shows.

Due to play Dundee's Fat Sams venue on October 20th, the tour hits England shortly afterwards. Playing Leeds on October 21st, the tour hits London shortly afterwards.

Taking place at the iconic Heaven venue, the show on October 26th is a rare return to the capital for the Glasgow band. Due to be one of the highlights of the tour, the show in Heaven will be followed by a climactic performance in Sons & Daughters' home town on October 28th.

Taking place at the ABC, the shimmering disco ball will act as a suitable backdrop for the filthy glamour of 'Mirror Mirror'. Clash Magazine are set to partner the tour, following Sons & Daughters every step of the way. Expect some special features as the tour bus gets into gear!
