Beacons Festival has added more names to its line up, with Solange, Local Natives and more set to take part.
Set in the rolling Yorkshire dales outside Skipton, Beacons is rapidly emerging as a festival to watch. Small enough to feel familiar, big enough to draw in some massive names the three day event is set to return with a few surprises in 2013.
Solange is one of the hottest properties in pop music, someone who effortlessly cherry picks the best in underground ideas and presents them in a slick, high profile manner. Set to dominate the musical landscape this year, the American artist has agreed to appear at Beacons.
Part of a new wave of announcements, Solange is set to be joined by American group Local Natives whose new album 'Hummingbird' is remaining glued to the Clash stereo. Gabriel Bruce is also due to journey to Skipton, while the line up contains appearances from Savages, Canadian punk troupe Fucked Up and more.
House guru John Talabot produced one of 2012's landmark albums, and the beatsmith will perform at this summer's Beacons. Elsewhere, Paradise and East India Youth represent some of the up and coming talent on the bill.
Tickets are on sale now at the reduced early bird rate of £74.50, rising to £99.50 once the allocation is out.
