20th anniversary celebrations continue...
Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg is set to perform at T In The Park this summer, as the festival's 20th anniversary celebrations continue.

2013 is an important year for T In The Park. Toasting their 20th anniversary, the team are busy putting in place a bill which reflects their past whilst also looking to the future.

It's also an important year for Snoop Dogg. Part of Dr Dre's crew, the rapper made his debut back in 1993 with the electrifying album 'Doggystyle' - a record which immediately raised the bar for West Coast rap.

Currently operating under his Snoop Lion moniker, the rapper is busy working on a Dancehall crossover record. However that won't stop the hip hop icon from leafing through his archives for a special party starting set at Balado this summer.

The latest addition to the T In the Park bill, Snoop Dogg will join the likes of Kraftwerk, The Killers, Rihanna and many, many more. Geoff Ellis, Festival Director, said: “Snoop Dogg is a true legend and one of the most influential rap stars of all time. His first and only T in the Park performance so far back in 2005 was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our 20 year history, and we’re hugely excited to bring him back to Scotland for our 20th edition. Snoop is a phenomenal live act, and I can’t wait to see what he’s got in store for us this year.”

Tickets are on sale now.
