Reforming amid much fanfare earlier this year, Slowdive's re-union has been one of the year's feel good stories.
The shoegaze group retain a ferocious live punch, as evidenced by their wonderful show at London's Village Underground earlier this year.
Recently arriving in Taipei, though, the band realised that they had left their pedals behind… in Chicago. Scrambling together enough equipment to play the set, Slowdive will now focus on a pair of UK shows.
The band have announced a two night stand at London's Kentish Town Forum, taking place on December 19th and 20th. (via FACT)
Tickets go on sale this Thursday (July 24th) at 10am – best be quick, though, as the band sold out the Village Underground in just two minutes.
Here's 'When The Sun Hits'.
Slowdive have confirmed the following shows:
December
19 London Kentish Town Forum
20 London Kentish Town Forum
