And the winner is...
Sister Ray

It's been a big year for Sister Ray.

The central London music emporium battled through the record shop slump, finding renewed energy in 2014.

Shuffling to swanky new premises, the shop even opened an additional branch in the heart of fashionable Shoreditch.

Growing from strength to strength, Sister Ray recently asked staff to name their favourite albums of 2014.

GOAT's triumphant return 'Commune' has come out on top, with Mac DeMarco close on their heels. Surprise picks include Soundcarriers and Moire, while big names getting the nod from staff include Caribou, The War On Drugs, Mogwai and more.
