Icelandic post rock giants Sigur Ros have announced that they are to release an expanded version of their latest album 'Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust'.

The ethereal group released the album earlier this year, with the title 'Med Sud I Eyrum Vid Spilum Endalaust' translating as 'With A Buzz In Our Ears We Play Endlessly'. The newly expanded version of the album will come complete with a 200-page hardback book of photos taken by photographer Eva Vermandel.

In addition to the luxurious hardback volume the package will also contain a 'Making Of...' DVD, shot on Super-8 by director Nick Abrahams. The new DVD will tell the story of the album's recording as well as documenting concerts in England, Mexico and the US.

The package will also contain a strip of 16mm film from the video to the band's single 'Gobbledigook'.
