LA indie-pop group Sea Wolf are set to release their new single "You're A Wolf" on July 28th through Dangerbird Records.
The American group have earned a cult reputation with their orchestral pop, and their debut album is due to hit these shores soon. The single "You're A Wolf" is taken from this record, and follows hot on the release of the EP "Get To The River Before It Runs Too Low" in March.
Led by the enigmatic Alex Brown Church - named after a Jack London novel - the group's songs are cryptic tales of the old West told over delicate arrangements. Church's original home recordings were augmented by a close circle of musicians before being handed over to Phil Ek (producer of Bands Of Horses and The Shins) for some polishing.
Sea Wolf release their new single "You're A Wolf" on July 28th. The band also have a number of live appearances scheduled including:
July 1st - The Roadhouse, Manchester (with The Whigs)
July 2nd - The 100 Club, London (with The Whigs)
July 4th - O2 Wireless Festival, Hyde Park (with Morrissey)
July 5th - The Water Rats, London
