Norwegian group prepare new album
Norwegian electronic duo Royksopp have stunned fans by announcing that they are preparing to release their first album in three years, when 'Junior' hits the nation's record shops on March 23rd.
Comprising Svein Berge and Torbjorn Brundtland, Royksopp burst onto the international scene with their hugely successful debut album 'Melody AM'. Buoyed by single 'Poor Leno' it went on to become a chilled out classic eventually totting up over 1 million sales.
Royksopp followed that with 'The Understanding' in 2005 and have been silent since then. New album 'Junior' boasts guest appearances from Anneli Drecker, Karin Dreijer-Andersson (The Knife), Lykke Li and Robyn.
The first single from the album will be 'Happy Up Here', a joyful romp that is set loose on March 9th.
