Royksopp For Get Loaded
More acts for festival
Returning Norwegian electro-pop group Royksopp have been added to the line up for this year's T In The Park festival.
Grab your tent, it's time for Get Loaded In The Park. The South London event is rapidly becoming one of the summer's biggest parties, boasting more than thirty live acts and DJs across four stages.
Only only lasting for one day, this year's event can boast some truly stellar attractions. Rave heroes Orbital are due to play a headline set, with the Hartnoll brothers donning those famous specs for the first time since their hiatus in 2004.
Formed in the afterglow of the Acid House explosion, Orbital went on to become one of Britain's most respected dance acts. Their live shows are heavily improvised, with a Glastonbury slot from 1994 often cited as the event's best ever performance.
Joining them on the bill are Australian mentalists Pendulum, who will bring the noise with a special DJ set. Other attractions include Miss Kitten & The Hacker, with hotly tipped group Bloody Beetroots set to play live.
But the organisers are far from finished, recently unveiled a number of special bonuses for fans. Royksopp released their eagerly awaited new album 'Junior' earlier this month, a typically stunning collection of pop anthems.
The group recently launched a photography competition on their website, giving amateur photographers the chance to win passes to a European show and watch them in action. To enter, just send Royksopp a link to your portfolio!
Joining the group on the bill are dance legends Laurent Garnier and Felix Da Housecat. Sunday Best guru Rob Da Bank is also set to DJ at the rapidly expanding event, with London electro star Esser due to perform.
Get Loaded In The Park is set to take place on August 30th.
