Ronnie Wood Turns On Christmas Lights

Joined By Russian Waitress At Ceremony

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has turned on the Christmas lights in London's Hampstead on Friday (November 28th) and was joined by his new girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova.

The Rolling Stones legend has rarely been out of the gossip columns this year, after his marriage became engulfed in rumors that he was having an affair with a 20 year old Russian waitress. The guitarist apparently fled to Ireland with the young women, while his wife began divorce proceedings.

The musician appeared at Hampstead with his new girlfriend by his side. Originally a member of Mod group The Birds, Ronnie Wood went on to play a pivotal role in the legendary 70s group The Faces. The band are set to reform for a much anticipated tour in the new year.

Wood is the latest musical legend to begin the Christmas celebrations. Sir Paul McCartney recently switched on the Christmas lights outside his daughter's fashion store in London.
