Ronnie Wood Stars On Lewis Album

Rolling Stone in Killer duet

Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood has been working with rock 'n' roller Jerry Lee Lewis on his latest album, it has been reported.

As well as touring the world with the Rolling Stones Ronnie Wood has also been extremely busy of late putting The Faces back on the road and living with a girlfriend less than half his age. It's a wonder, then, he can find the energy to contribute to Jerry Lee Lewis' new album, which will also feature The Duke Spirit's Leila Moss.

In an interview with BBC 6Music Moss explained "Ronnie Wood was playing too, and having come to our recent Los Angeles show, he'd said, 'What about that Leila from The Duke Spirit, is she still on tour over here?'"

"So I went on this crazy last minute dash via three cities and got to the studio in Memphis. Mental. Legends. Jerry Lee – still got it. It was so ace I just had to tell because I'm so excited."

Jerry Lee Lewis' new album will be released later in the year.
