Rolling Stones Street Name Honour

Update: Names Chosen

The humble town of Dartford is set to honour two of its most famous sons when the town council name a street after Mick Jagger and Keith Richards' band The Rolling Stones.

The songwriting duo who comprise the core of the band were born and brought up in Dartford, before leaving the town for global stardom. The town council are currently deciding what names to give 13 new streets to be built in Dartford, but are set to name one of them in honour of The Rolling Stones.

Names currently under consideration are Satisfaction Street, Stones Avenue, Angie Mews and Ruby Tuesday Drive. Dartford council leader Jeremy Kite joked: "You can't always get what you want, but in this case I think we can get some satisfaction."

Good grief.
