Rolling Stones Post Set List

Image appears on Twitter...

The Rolling Stones have posted an image on Twitter, seemingly containing the provisional set list for their upcoming tour.

They may well be in their 70s, but for many The Rolling Stones remain the greatest rock 'n' roll attraction on Earth. The band broke cover earlier this week, announcing a handful of dates either side of the Atlantic in order to celebrate their 50th anniversary. Now the band have posted a new image online, which seems to hint at potential set list ideas for the tour.

Predictably, it's heavy on the classics – think that glorious run of 45s and a few album tracks – although sadly newly recorded single 'Doom & Gloom' is nowhere to be seen.

Elsewhere, Mick Jagger has spoken to the Evening Standard about the 50th anniversary shows. “It doesn’t exactly feel like your golden wedding" he explained. "I think it kind of feels like a bit of a fuck off moment to be honest, and I don’t think we’ve laughed at it enough. I think one of the reasons is that we don’t really believe that amount of time has gone by so quickly, and here we are, still here.” Curiously, the frontman also revealed that the Rolling Stones had been in touch with former bass player Bill Wyman about joining them onstage. Leaving the band in 1991, the musician has not performed with the group since.
