Keith Richards reveals

The Rolling Stones have returned to the rehearsal room, according to Keith Richards.
The Rolling Stones have reached their 50th anniversary. After countless bust ups, fights, spells in rehab and very public divorce battles perhaps the most iconic rock band of all time are celebrating their 50th birthday.
Rumours of a tour have dogged the group, with Keith Richards leading the band back into rehearsals earlier this year. Taking part in the launch of a new photography exhibition called 'The Rolling Stones: 50' London's Somerset House the guitarist let slip that those rehearsals are an ongoing process.
"There's things in the works - I think it's definitely happening. But when? I can't say yet" BBC News report the guitarist as saying. "We're playing around with the idea and had a couple of rehearsals - we've got together and it feels so good."
Taking part in an open discussion, Keith Richards was asked if he anticipated The Rolling Stones lasting so long. "Never, back then groups used to last about two or three years. You hoped to have a good time and that was that."
Continuing, Keith Richards said: "It's a generation thing, that post-war thing, also technology, when we started we were making 45s and then when you could make albums, that gave us the chance to do more. I never expected to get here, so it's all gravy."
Asked to sum up The Rolling Stones' career to date, the always erudite guitarist simply said: "Fascinating and raunchy. Let's keep it that way."
