Roger Waters is set to take his production of 'The Wall' to Europe next summer - full ticket details below.
One of the most iconic live productions in rock history, 'The Wall' marks the high point of prog's hubris. Pink Floyd painstakingly built (and then demolished) an enormous wall each night, as the band would bring their seminal double album to life.
Roger Waters decided to take the album back on tour last year, piecing together a new version of the iconic production. Playing a series of massive shows across North America, the songwriter is now set to take 'The Wall' to Europe.
Announcing a European leg of the tour, Roger Waters will play an enormous show at Wembley Stadium next summer. Taking place on September 14th, tickets for the UK date go on sale 9am on Wednesday 21st November.
A quote from the Pink Floyd icon: “I’m extremely glad to be playing The Wall in Europe again. It’s going to be a lot of fun for all of us. I’ve reworked the show to play outdoors in large stadiums. It’s really good. Even more moving, engaging, dramatic and thrilling than the Arena shows. I’ve had to rethink the whole thing about stadiums. This wide wall stadium show couldn’t have been done 40 years ago. We couldn’t have filled the space in a way that would have been emotionally, musically and theatrically satisfying. Technology has changed. Now we can.”
