Led Zep Man Comes Out Top

Led Zeppelin's golden locked frontman Robert Plant has come out on top in a new poll to find the greatest voice in the history of rock music, it has been reported.

The new poll was organised by Planet Rock and features some of the greatest names in rock music. Plant scooped the honours, with his lengthy career stretching from being a rock god with Led Zeppelin to a recent Grammy nominated collaboration with Alison Krauss.

Also on the list were the late Freddie Mercury, Free's Paul Rodgers and The Who's Roger Daltrey. Axl Rose has reason to celebrate, with the 'Chinese Democracy' writer hitting the lower fringes of the poll.
