Rob Da Bank Pens Memoirs

Bestival organiser tells all

Legendary festival organiser, DJ and label boss Rob Da Bank is set to publish his memoirs soon with 'Rob da Bank's A-Z Of Festivals: My Festival Life In 26 Letters' due for release on May 1st.

Coming early to festivals, the summer bug seems to have caught hold of Rob Da Bank. As well as running his label Sunday Best (home to Dan Le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip and many more) he also organises his own events - Bestival and Camp Bestival.

Acclaimed as some of the finest events around, last year's Bestival boasted headline performances by Grace Jones and Hot Chip. The new book will discuss his love, and experiences, of festivals and will feature illustrations by his wife Josie Da Bank.

Rob da Bank told CMU: "I spend approximately 12 hours a day 365 days a year thinking about festivals - when I wake up, while I'm changing nappies, if I'm watching the box and before I go to bed. It's got beyond a joke but I can't leave the blasted things alone."

"I haven't been to anywhere near enough of them around the world but I do know a lot about them so I decided to write a book with some beautifully eccentric illustrations from my wife Josie".

Rob Da Bank will release his new book 'Rob da Bank's A-Z Of Festivals: My Festival Life In 26 Letters' on May 1st.
