RM Hubbert is set to release his new album 'Breaks & Bone' through Chemikal Underground in September.
Set up in 1994, Chemikal Underground seems to be in rude health. Virtually everything the label has touched over the past 18 months has been fantastic, with their domination of this year's SAY Awards bringing a collective smile to the Clash team.
RM Hubbert, of course, waltzed away with the trophy on a memorable evening for both the songwriter and the label. Always one to move quickly, the Glasgow based artist is already focussing on his next release.
'Breaks & Bone' will be released in September, and is unusual in that it features Hubbert's voice on each track. Normally preferring to work in collaboration with other vocalists, the guitarist has clearly decided to place himself at the centre of this release.
Out on September 27th, this will actually be Chemikal Underground's 200th release. Produced by Paul Savage, you can listen to preview cut 'Dec 11' below.
