With Ninja Tune and Big Dada...

Bestival is set to re-welcome last year’s hugely popular Rizlab stage, who have teamed up with Ninja Tune and Big Dada in a quest to deliver yet another 2 days of innovative, genre-defying music for all festival goers to bop and hop their weekend away to.

Last year, Rizlab played host to Friendly Fires, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Frankie Knuckles, and SBTRKT and the stage proved to be one of the most talked-about of the festival.
This year’s line-up will see the likes of Sheffield’s Toddla T, the much- hyped Bonobo, new signing Slugabled, Raf Daddy (of The 2 Bears) and even label bosses Coldcut entertaining a sure-to-be rampant crowd. The men at the helm of Ninja Tune will be returning to the stage for a special, one-off performance that should no doubt serve as a reminder of their bald-faced musical talent and proof that they still lead the way in innovative electronic music.

And that’s just the Saturday. The following day will see Big Dada step up to the plate and showcase acts such as UK Garage legend Sticky, funk n fuzz Bristol-based trio Beak> and big hitters Roots Manuva, who are bound to provide their listeners with a well-rounded caboodle of typically menacing brazen beats. Scheduled to bring the night to a close is ‘original funcrusher’ ‘EI-P’, who will be revealing a range of new material after the successful completion of his new and widely praised album ‘Cancer 4 Cure’. Expect brute force, rasping lyrics and show-stopping performances from this lot.

Rob Da Bank has added his seal of approval: “'As ever RizLab has pulled a great bunch of selectors and live acts out of the bag - the RizLab stage is going be a lockout from the moment it opens til the last air horn runs out of gas on Sunday evening.”

RizLab will be revealing the details of Project 4 shortly, which will culminate in an exclusive hi-tech headline performance on the RizLab stage on Friday night.
