Ripcurl Boardmasters, Europe's biggest surf / skate and music festival, will return to Newquay for more extreme fun between August 4th - 10th.

Based around two events - The Beach Sessions and the Unleashed Festival - Rip Curl Boardmasters is one of the most exciting events of the summer combining a great coastal location with some of the best in extreme sports. The competitions are fierce, with a $100,000 purse at stake in the surfing competition attracting entrants from all over the world.

The Beach Sessions takes place in the Fosters Bar and has five nights of live music, including acts such as The Nextmen, Kids In Glass Houses, Seth Lakeman and British Sea Power. The Unleashed Festival meanwhile is based in the scenic Watergate Bay and will present Groove Armada, The Zutons, The Pigeon Detectives and The Futureheads amongst many others.

Ripcurl Boardmasters takes place in Newquay between August 4th - 10th.
