The Cure, Kasabian, Foo Fighters

The line up for this summer's instalment of Reading & Leeds festival has been announced.

With tickets for Reading and Leeds going on sale at 7:15pm tonight (March 12th) organisers have begun to announce the first names on the line up for this year's event.

Headlining Reading and Leeds this summer will be The Cure, Kasabian and Foo Fighters. It's a rare return to the festival season for The Cure, whose performance at Bestival last year gained a release in its own right.

Kasabian are hard at work on their new studio album, while Foo Fighters remain one of the biggest rock bands on the planet.

Elsewhere on the Main Stage, fans can expect appearances from: Paramore, Florence and the Machine, The Black Keys, Bombay Bicycle club, The Vaccines, Kaiser Chiefs, You Me At Six, Enter Shikari, Bullet for My Valentine, Crystal Castles, ?The Shins, All Time Low, Angels and Airwaves, OFWGKTA, THE GASLIGHT ANTHEM, Coheed and Cambria, Mystery Jets Official, Eagles Of Death Metal, Cancer Bats, Band of Skulls, ?Deaf Havana, Blood Red Shoes and Pulled Apart by Horses.

Over on the Radio 1 Stage: The Maccabees, At the Drive-In, Justice, Foster The People, The Cribs, Two Door Cinema Club, The Courteeners, ?The Horrors, Billy Talent, Miike Snow and SBTRKT.

While over on the Dance Stage you can find: METRONOMY, Katy B, Azealia Banks and Jaguar Skills.

Reading and Leeds runs between August 24th - 26th.
