To accompany 'Welcome To Condale'

Summer Camp have unveiled a new eZine to accompany their debut album 'Welcome To Condale'.

With only a few singles and an EP under their belt, Summer Camp have already become linked to a particular aesthetic. In interviews, the band talk frequently about the effect of watching an old VHS, with the footage becoming distorted through time.

Listening to their debut album, you can see their point. 'Welcome To Condale' shares the retro-Futurism of chillwave producers, but with a songwriting edge that is steeped in the lineage of classic British pop.

Set to be released through the band's own Apricot Recording Co. with Moshi Moshi on hand to provide assistance. Due to drop on October 31st, Summer Camp have prepared a new eZine as an introduction to the themes of the record.

Focussing on the lives of four characters in the fictional town of Condale, the album references the films of John Hughes. In the eZine, Summer Camp explore the visual aesthetics further mixing lyric sheets with pages which seem to recall 80s teen magazines.
