Ray Summers Secure Doves Support Slot

Rising Scottish reggae punks The Ray Summers have secured a support slot with Doves after releasing their new single.
Glasgow has a thriving 60s scene. The city boasts some world class DJs, centred on nights such as Friday Street and Eyes Wide Open, attracting suited and booted crowds from across the country and beyond.
A new wave of groups have emerged inspired by this. Figure 5, The Fast Camels and now The Ray Summers have all come screaming out of the city.
A six piece, The Ray Summers have earned acclaim through their energetic live show. Managed by the team who brought you The View, the Falkirk band have a similar cheeky street kid charm.
The band released their new single 'Heshka Rashka' this week, attracting widespread attention. Filming a unique video, there is to be no let up for the band with some massive shows planned.
Manchester group Doves are due to play Edinburgh this Sunday (August 8th) after the release of their new retrospective. Searching around for a young Scottish group to support them, the band happened upon The Ray Summers.
Listening to their new single, the Falkirk band were invited along for the party. Taking place at the HMV Picture House tickets for the show are still available, but act quick as they are flying out.
Meanwhile, The Ray Summers have decided to give away a new track. 'Crazy World' is a thrilling slice of indie punk and is available for gratis, nada, nothing.
