Rascals On UK Tour
Band On Re-Arranged Dates
Scouse epic-pop group The Rascals have admitted that being forced to re-arrange their UK tour may have been a "blessing in disguise".
Lead by Miles Kane, the band have had a great year. Debut album 'Rascalize' scored some rave reviews, with its mixture of melancholic sixties pop and a cutting edge indie sound.
The Rascals were scheduled to begin the tour in September but were forced to postpone the dates after singer Miles Kane came down with laryngitis. The tour was re-scheduled for December, with the band due to kick it off shortly.
In a new interview Kane said "I feel like we're stronger than ever, so I'm actually glad we had to reschedule the UK tour as it feels the best way to end the year".
Continuing he said that "we've been doing this new song called 'Chills And Fever', which is a bit like 'Cold Turkey' Lennon, and there's another one called 'Diamond Trip' which I want to work out this week and put in the set before the UK dates."
The Rascals will play the following UK tour dates:
December 10th - Norwich, Arts Centre
December 12th - Derby, The Royal
December 13th - London, Astoria
December 15th - Cambridge, The Junction
December 16th - London, Scala
December 19th - Liverpool, Carling Academy 2
December 23rd - Manchester, Ruby Lounge
