A stage collape shortly before a Radiohead show in Toronto has left one person dead and others injured.

Heading back out on tour, Radiohead confirmed a series of Canadian shows earlier this year. Set to play a massive outdoor date in Canada today (June 17th) the concert has been postponed due to a serious stage collapse.

Canadian news outlets (via BBC) are reporting that the stage collapsed shortly before the band were due to go onstage. Fans were already queuing outside, with Radiohead immediately deciding to cancel the show.

According to reports, one worker was killed in the incident with others being taken to hospital. Exact details remain sketchy, with Radiohead yet to make an official statement.

Part of their extensive North American tour, the band were set to be joined by Canadian artist Caribou. Immediately postponed, there is no word as yet on how the Downsview Park incident will affect the remaining dates.
