As their international tour resumes
Radiohead paid tribute to drum tech Scott Johnson during their show in Nimes, France last night (July 10th).
It's been a sobering period for Radiohead. The band's North American tour ended in tragedy, when a stage collapse in Toronto killed their drum tech Scott Johnson.
Re-scheduling and postponing a number of shows, Radiohead drummer Phil Selway issued an emotional tribute to Johnson as the band struggled to adjust their live set.
The tour resumed last night (July 10th) in Nimes, France and the band were quick to salute Scott Johnson. During the performance of 'Reckoner' the screen behind Radiohead filled up with images of their drum tech. (via Consequence of Sound)
Opening up the set with 'OK Computer' classic 'Lucky' the band also performed 'Treefingers' during the encore. Taken from 'Kid A' the ambient, electronic track has never featured in their live set before.
