Radiohead Prepare Physical Album

And their own newspaper

Radiohead have revealed details of the physical version of 'The King Of Limbs'.

Released earlier this year, Radiohead's new album 'The King of Limbs' delighted fans. Refusing to sit still, the band's new material is perhaps their most cohesive linking of electronic music and indie rock to date.

Clocking in at a mere 37 minutes, 'The King Of Limbs' doesn't hang around long enough to become stagnant. Radiohead released the album as a digital download through their own website, promising a full physical version later this year.

Now a few details of the physical album have been confirmed. Radiohead are set to release 'The King Of Limbs' on March 28th, with the double spread vinyl version set to resemble a newspaper.

XL Recordings will handle the release, the band's first new album in three years. Radiohead are set to celebrate the album with an exciting new free newspaper project, due to take place in cities around the globe.

Titled 'The Universal Sigh' the newspaper will be free and available from specific outlets. No details on content as yet, but given Thom Yorke's high profile political views and environmental outlook he could easily contribute an article or two.

So long as it has a Sudoku puzzle we'll be happy...

Meanwhile, it seems that a mystery surrounds one element of the physical release. Initial reports suggest that Radiohead have thanked Drew Barrymore for her help in the recording. What did she contribute?

The band have yet to reveal the truth behind the dedication, with full details set to be unveiled with the release on Monday (March 28th).
