Radiohead Confirm UK Tour Dates

The speculation is over...

Radiohead have confirmed three UK shows for later this year, ending furious speculation from fans.

Radiohead don’t do concerts – they do events. Each performance from the band is soaked up by fans, becoming part and parcel of the mythology which surrounds the Oxford giants.

Confirming plans to head back out on the road, Radiohead announced a lengthy series of North American and European dates. However British shows were notably absent from the list, sparking speculation amongst fans.

Now Radiohead have put an end to the rumours. The band will play three UK shows later this year, including a two night stand at the O2 Arena.

The band’s first headline shows in the UK since 2008, Radiohead will open the tour in Manchester on October 6th. Hitting the O2 Arena on October 8th and 9th, tickets for the shows go on sale at 9am this Friday (March 9th).

Recently hooking up with Ticket Trust, Radiohead will use every step to prevent secondary ticketing. Obviously one of the year’s biggest tours, passes for each show will no doubt rocket in price online.

The band will be implementing a paperless ticketing system, limiting the number of tickets per transaction, disallowing name changes after purchase, and requiring photo ID to gain entry to the shows.
