New wave wunderkinds Ra Ra Riot have had to upgrade their forthcoming London date due to public demand.

The New York outfit had originally planned to play the city's Borderline venue as part of their UK tour in February , however due to tickets sales reaching fever pitch, have decided to upgrade to the 700-capacity Kings College venue.

Releasing their orchestral alt-rock triumph 'The Rhumb Line' last year, the album's symphonic pop odysseys have seen the band become a sleeper hit of late.

Having rose from the ashes of the N.Y. college circuit and battled tragedy along the way (original drummer John Ryan Pike was found dead last year), the band look set to storm the UK for some well deserved, celebratory shows in the coming weeks.
