Ahead of their new album 'Accelerate', REM have announced a special gig at London's Royal Albert Hall.
Tickets go on sale this Friday with all proceeds going to the ICA, the gig is being held as part of their 60th anniversary celebrations. Support comes from Robyn Hitchcock, Foals and Duke Spirit.
A full UK tour is scheduled to begin in July after the album's release and will continue to turn 2008 into the year REM returned.
