In one of the year's more intriguing pop comebacks, Róisín Murphy recorded an entire EP in Italian.
The language of her partner, the Irish born singer embraced an entirely new discipline. Recording some classic Italian pop songs, the production was updated for the 21st century, drawing on Italo Disco, Euro pop and more.
Out now, 'Mi Senti' was a fascinating document. Now Róisín Murphy has confirmed plans for two remix bundles, with the first landing later this month.
Due out on June 25th, the four track 12 inch will be pressed by the Vinyl Factory and features remixes from Pyschemagik, house legends The All Seeing I, Horse Meat Disco’s Severino & Nico De Ceglia, and Leo Mas & Fabrice.
In addition to this, a remix of ‘Ancora Tu’ by Italian legends Daniele Baldelli and Marco Dionigi is available for fans to download for free from the new ‘Mi Senti’ microsite.
